About Double Diamond Accountancy Services Double Diamond Accountancy Services Limited was founded in 2012 by Julia Sired, a CIMA-qualified Chartered Management Accountant with over 25 years’ experience in a wide range of industries. We began as a practice specialising in providing a full range of accountancy and business advisory services to the pub trade. In 2016, the practice took over a local practice and welcomed clients from a diverse range of sectors to provide compliance and tax advisory services. Since then, the practice has remained at around 100 clients, ensuring a personalised, quality service to each client. We provide a full range of compliance and advisory services including annual accounts (sole traders, partnerships, limited companies), tax returns, VAT, Payroll (including furlough), CIS, management accounts, business advice, etc. We are passionate about making finance and accountancy as painless as possible for small and medium-sized business owners, allowing them to focus on running their businesses as efficiently as possible. We have successfully introduced the cloud accounting software Xero to many clients, streamlining their processes and saving precious time and money. We work flexible hours to accommodate clients, including evenings and weekends where needed. Each client receives a tailor-made service to meet their requirements. Biography Julia went to school locally in Reigate and then studied Economics at Durham University. She qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in 2000 and then spent a number of years working in industry for a variety of companies from small business to very large, including Sainsbury’s, BT and Unilever. She took a break from the corporate rat-race in 2007 and ran her own small business, a local pub. To have greater flexibility around the demands of a young family, she subsequently decided to revert to accountancy and in 2012 set up her own CIMA-approved accountancy practice to help people running their own small and medium-sized businesses in the local area. Her key areas of expertise are providing value-adding management reporting, financial analysis, business partnering with non-finance people (explaining in non-technical language!), and all aspects of tax compliance.
